McCalls M6886 Floral Galore

Hello All

Going through my stash, and I found this floral print I wanted to make M6886, View DM6886
But I didn't have enough fabric to cut it on the fold, and I didn't want a back seam. So I went with another floral print. Going through all my fabric I think I may have an obsession with floral prints. I just love flowers, makes me feel very lady like.

This dress sewed very quickly, and I think I will be make more of this dress this summer I did view D, but will try the other views as well. Will post a picture when I wear it my photographer (daughter) is out of town right now.

                                          My Review

Pattern Description:  Sheath Dress

Pattern Sizing: I cut a size 18, which fits well

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes, I so called myself pegging it at the bottom, but I'm sure I didn't do it properly, but it comes to my body like I wanted too. Just didnt use the most polished technique

Were the instructions easy to follow? Very easy to follow

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I don't have any dislikes about the pattern

Fabric Used:  Ity Knit, it kept sticking to my plate., I need to research more on how to work with this material

Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: Peg at the leg, I got rather large "bum" and I wanted to the bottom of the dress to be tighter at the knee and hem area, hate the rise in the back

Would you sew it again?  YES YES YES, will sew again

Would you recommend it to others? I would recommend to everyone, just beginning sewing, or someone who wants to build a quick wardrobe for work or play
